In comparison to fiberglass filters, 19x22x1 pleated air filters are at least 20 times more effective. All Filter King air filters are made in the US.
Filters frames are made out of heat resistant paperboard with horizontal grid supports. Able to withstand temperatures of up to 200° F and resistant to moisture, the paperboard frames do not support microbial growth and outperforms traditional cardboard frames.
Chemical free, electrostatically charged synthetic polyester media is pleated, maximizing the surface area, to capture a high number of airborne particles as small as 0.3 microns with low air flow resistance. To increase durability, the media is supported with a corrosion resistant steel wire.
Filter King AC & furnace filters aren’t the typical fiberglass filters that need to be replaced every 30 days. Our filters can typically be used for 3 to 5 months before requiring to be changed. Naturally, a variety of things influence filter lifespan.
Some of the factors that influence your filter’s life include outdoor air quality, whether pets are in the home, and how well your HVAC system is maintained.
Your air filter becomes clogged over time by trapped particles, preventing airflow. The efficiency of the HVAC filter declines. Your system must work harder to heat and cool your home. The extra strain on the HVAC system causes higher energy bills. Regular home air filter replacements can prevent expensive system repairs or replacements down the road.
You should change your filter more frequently if you notice:
Filter King 19x22x1 size air filters are placed in your home air systems as cleaners that keep incoming airflow free of irritants. The air surrounding your home may contain any number of allergens or pollutants capable of affecting your home’s indoor air quality. The air systems in your home are constantly bringing in air, which means that your filters are constantly in use. Your air filters will become dirtier over time as they continue to trap and absorb harmful particles in their tight mesh weaving. Your air filters will inevitably need replacing in order to avoid several problems with the system and throughout your home.
Your air systems pump in airflow regardless of how clean it is, they have no way of telling the good air from the bad. Air filters are the tools used to make sure your home is not polluted by the allergens and particles from the air surrounding your home. The air filters become dirtier in the process, and fresh airflow becomes hindered or stopped when it cannot travel through the resulting blockages. Without fresh airflow, your home suffers from dryness and stagnation while other costs begin to rise.
Your home air systems will use additional energy to try to push airflow past dirty air filters and into your home. The process leads to increased energy billing and possible mechanical damage over time. Filter King offers new 19x22x1 size air filters to help avoid any issues with ineffective filters and keeps airflow coming in clean. We offer a delivery service, with orders of two or more filters being shipped for free. There is also a subscription option to have your air filters regularly delivered. Our air filters have a MERV (Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value) rating of eight, meaning they are able to block out irritants like:
Filter King furnace air filters are placed into the system in order to prevent heated airflow from polluting your home. The furnace filters will eventually become dirty and require replacement to avoid temperature issues. Dirty furnace filters create heating problems that fluctuate the warmth entering your home and the internal temperatures of your furnace. New furnace air filters will help keep airflow going through smoothly and prevent mechanical issues for the system.
